Key elements you must include in your website to conform to the expectations of the genre, the audience and what is expected of a website for a music artist: A menu bar- This is a navigation bar, which makes it easy for the user to navigate their way around the artists website. The menu bar is a horizontal bar that is usually positioned at the top of the website. This enables for multiple options to drop down and the user can investigate an option of their choice further. The artists logo- The logo helps to assist public recognition and promote the artist. The logo should be coherent who the artist is, and this may be shown through the colours and the music genre that they typically use to represent them. Sometimes the logo is the symbol on the front of their newest album cover, by using this technique, it raises a greater recognition and promotion of the artist. 1. This will capture activities that are incorporated with the theme of summer. For instance, activities that project a variety of open spaces, and shots both abroad and in the UK. There will be a reverse effect in the music video in which will emphasise the speed of their experience going quickly as it is they are having a good time. The representations are both locations and gender. 2. This one will try to capture coming of age. It will purely focus on one person's activities with others and follow them on a typical day for them. The representations explored will be age and gender. 3. This one will have the same element of coming of age, however it will incorporate the aspect of different cultures and ethnicities. For instance, this will be shown by the usage of different cultures in all of the countries that I will be visiting this year.
